Did you know, /x/, that the average city dweller is, on average, caught on camera 75 times a day? That means that about 3 times an hour you're being watched by someone. Just imagine what you've been caught doing, or what others have been caught doing. Imagine what other things are caught on camera, everyday, and never see the light of day.
I'm bored, /x/. Let's find and watch some webcams.

lately I've been doing a lot of meditation/visualization exercises, with a dab of qigong mixed in. All well and good, but I've noticed lately that after a 2 - 3 minutes of these exercises, my body temperature spikes significantly. As in, I'll end up pouring sweat without moving a muscle, despite heart rate actually going down, sitting in a room with the window open on a cold night. Wtf /x/, did I get the shittiest superpower ever?

Do you think Lovecraft is an overrated author?
I'm not saying he didn't have good story ideas, but I'm thinking his writing style was unappealing. A lot of his stories are very slow, and written in a very old style which takes some getting used to.
Do you /x/philes actually read his stories, or kind of just go with the sparksnotes version of it? Because I admit that the summary of his stories are awesome, while actually reading them can be a little tedious.
Pickmans model for example. Reading it wasn't too hot, but afterwards looking back at it, it's pretty badass.
Sub-par artist suddenly starts drawing really realistic and good paintings of monsters. Friend comes over to visit and asks whats up with him being so good. Goes to his basement and he has some sort of hell-portal and has been painting pictures of actual monsters that thrive in his basement.
Pretty badass. But not a fun read.
If any of that made sense.
