Hey /x/, There is an odd happening at a building where I work, and I was wondering if one of you guys would have some insight or theories as to what's going on.
I posted about this back around Halloween, but the thread got washed away fairly quickly in the torrent of other content on /x/ at the time. I'll just go ahead and say there aren't any spooky skellingtons or anything. I just want to discuss what's been going on and hear what someone who is actually knowledgeable in this sort've stuff might think.
I work as a night-shift custodian on the campus of a medical center. Essentially, I have all night to clean a small medical facility. I've been doing it for 6 years. The pays good and there's no one there to bother you, so you can do your own thing. It's not my first job working alone at night. It's not common for me to feel scared or on edge about a place.
That being said, there is one building that I used to clean that bothered me. It was an office building where people's medical records and billing info was kept. While I was there, I always had this strange feeling that I was being watched by an old woman. Specifically, this image of a wrinkled old crone would come into my mind while I was cleaning, and it would not stop bothering me. It would get bad enough to where I'd have to actually go look around corners to make sure no one was standing there. Eventually, I got put at another building, and I haven't had to go back except a couple times.
Im fucking scared

So i have a 4-year-old niece (she will be 5 in March) I babysit her a lot (I'm a 14-year-old girl) so she is very artistic and loves crafts, drawing, and makeovers. So earlier today She found some paper in the printer and got a pencil from my bookbag. When I came in I saw her drawing a picture she smiled and said: "Help me finish my doodle, Annie!". (She says doodle because she's the cutest 4-year-old ever, and she calls me Annie cause she can't say, auntie) Anyways I go over to the table and I see this...I honestly think she is possessed...pray for me. She called him Mr. Claw and said he had knives for finger...WTF (Btw I drew the scared face I know I'm the next Picasso)

Can someone tell me why remote viewing isn't bullshit?
I've been seeing it spammed a lot lately, with what sounds like a bunch of LARPs chiming in claiming they can do it.
I want actual proof, not coincidences.
Honestly, its almost like the UFOs, if this phenomenon was so real and common, it would be out there.
It sounds nice, but I can't believe a shred of it.
Is there any small task that can be done to prove it? I dunno, the thing with the cards you always see in movies? Can someone tell me my name or something?
/x/ film recommendation: IMMORTAL ( ad vitam )

"Immortal" is a film based on Enki Bilal's graphic novel series "The Nikopol Trilogy". It's a great /x/ film: In a nutshell a declared insane by his peers Horus returns to Earth, the other Egyptian gods come to retrieve Horus, and earth's humans get roundly used and abused as a by-product. Note: The film encompasses elements from the entire trilogy but focuses on the first part of the trilogy which is good. The actual trilogy itself has a great start, then parts 2 & 3 just kind of flounder about.
vidya: http://store.steampowered.com/app/11370/ ( WAY too point and click clunky for most, recommended to hard core Bilal fans only )
Will be posting images from the video game and film. PLUS the book contains a lot of quotes from Baudelaire's "Les Fleurs Du Mal", so will be including excerpts just because. If 'wall of text' bugs you, this isn't your thread... though you'd not have made it this far. So, well, whatever.

The room is filled with the smell of cigarette smoke, on your desk sits a half drunk glass of bourbon, an 1903 colt, and paperwork faintly illuminated by the street lights shining through the gaps in your window blinds.
It's that time again /x/
Unexplained disappearances. Perpetrators vanishing without a trace. “Suspicious” suicides. Bizarre, ritualized murders and messages from an anonymous killer. Indecipherable pieces of evidence. Incomprehensible acts of theft and terrorism. Horrific acts of violence with no apparent motive. Inexplicable or even supernatural elements to crime that defy conventional understanding. Tales of corrupt officials and conspiracies, tampering with evidence and suppressing the truth. Abduction, torture, ritual-murder, human-trafficking, secret societies and more.
Rookie Mode: Post a Wikipedia link.
Veteran Mode: Post a Wikipedia link AND a green-text summary in this thread that explains why the crime/event is so creepy, and inspires people to go and read the Wiki article.
I'll start us off with a few copy pastes to get us started off and to bump if things go slow.

IRL spooky thread? I have one legit paranormal, and a few that probably arent but were still spooky
>driving home one night
>about 2 am
>driving a section of road that I know really well
>decide to see what its like if i turn my lights off
>its dark what did you expect
>turn lights back on and there is this couple standing on the side of the road
>you guys werent here before wtf
>drive past, proceed to check rear view mirror
>nothing. They are not there
>go back home and feel weird
People die on that road every year. Its steep, windy, the speed limit is high, and its got like a wall of bush on either side. Also its Australia so people do dumb shit on the roads all the time. But yeah idk if it was the spirits of a couple who had died, or what, but its one of those things that i genuinely cant figure out.
