It's that time again, /x/.
Put on your trench-coats and Fedoras and light up a cigarette in a dimly-lit office, it’s time for a creepy unsolved crimes thread.
Unexplained disappearances. Perpetrators vanishing without a trace. “Suspicious” suicides. Bizarre, ritualized murders and messages from an anonymous killer. Indecipherable pieces of evidence. Incomprehensible acts of theft and terrorism. Horrific acts of violence with no apparent motive. Inexplicable or even supernatural elements to crime that defy conventional understanding. Tales of corrupt officials and conspiracies, tampering with evidence and suppressing the truth. Abduction, torture, ritual-murder, human-trafficking, secret societies and more.
Rookie Mode: Post a Wikipedia link.
Veteran Mode: Post a Wikipedia link AND a green-text summary in this thread that explains why the crime/event is so creepy, and inspires people to go and read the Wiki article.
As per usual, I’ll post some great copy-pasta from the previous iterations of this thread to get things started, and to keep this thread alive if things get slow.

alright so here's the deal. watch this (para?)dokument, then analyze informations you were given, search the web for other info and try to answer, is it possible for mermaids to exist? I think yes, even though videos presented in document looks obviously fake, and of course there is NO evidence.
what do you think /x/?
