WHAT WE KNOW:
Address: 17700 SE Forest Hill Dr, Damascus, OR 97089
Phone: (503) 255-2020
>some anon posted a thread about a temple of Oculus Anubis in the middle of a forest in Oregon
>hardly any info on the cult or religion.
>a voucher found for $2M for underground heated and vented tunnels
>billed as "ATTACHED ADDITIONAL LIVING SPACE THROUGH HEATED UNDERGROUND TUNNEL"
>all neighbors seem to have the last name neal somehow
Architecture firm that potentially designed building(s) in the compound, refers to it as the "Neal Sanctuary": http://grummelengineering.com/RESIDENTIAL.html
Had $260,000 in annual revenue: http://companies.findthecompany.com/l/1942178/Oculus-Inc-in-Damascus-OR
>could just be a shitty website though
>There are, according to the White Pages and multiple other similar website, five people said to be living at our 17700 SE Forest Hill Dr, Damascus, OR 97089 address. Their names are Anthony Neal (referenced in the architecture site), Sharon Neal, Greg Neal, Natalia Neal and Dean Neal.
>Dean and Sharon are 65+ years of age, Greg 50-54 and Natalia and Anthony between the ages of 35-39. Perhaps Dean and Sharon are parents to Anthony, Natalia being his wife or sister. Greg being in an odd age range for this match, potentially another child if Dean/Sharon are substantially older. Also, the fact that their residence is referred to as the 'Neal Sanctuary' seems a bit strange to me.
>"Yeah /pol/ actually cracked the case yesterday, just some new age spiritualist that were using a church to dodge taxes. The "complex" is actually just a large botanical garden with caves that work like greenhouses."

The position of heavenly bodies, interpretation of symbols drawn on cards, fire, the flight patterns of birds, the positions of seeds in excrement, All of these perhaps random and irrelevant things are used in divination in order to determine the will of the gods, one person's fortune or to predict future events.
I'm a student of corpus linguistics, a study which allows one to find natural rules and patterns in a large body (corpus) of text. My studies have included analysing the search terms on one computer in my university over a year, the content of technical support emails and other such random corpus.
I'm proposing that we undertake a new form of divination based on seemingly random information that could easily be built up into a corpus that can be analysed, information that is abundant to us yet is routinely ignored and considered a nuisance. Let's invent CAPTCHAmancy! The idea is simple, we collect the words that appear to us through captcha, use a program to sort them into order and see what patterns arise and what we can divine from them. I don't claim this actually works, but it is no more ridiculous to me than determining the future from studying beetle tracks (skatharomancy) or feces (scatomancy), or methods this board has used like yu-gi-oh cards.
see just how many ways humans have invented to 'see the future'
tl;dr - we collect captcha and try and use it for divination

So I could use your help guise.
I'm writing a campaign for Call of Cthulhu set in the universe of the game OFF. I decided to do so after playing the game, deciding I liked the atmosphere, so I wanted to run my friends through a campaign of it.
If I get some interest, I'll explain my plans for the campaign, and get some ideas from the lot of ya. Generally, I just need some feedback on what your impression of the game and it's atmosphere was, so I can incorporate that directly into the campaign.
Also, general OFF creepiness thread. Dedan is best char obviously.

What supernatural/paranormal entities do you believe in, fellow /x/-philes?
Personally, I believe in mermaids (the murderous kind), zombies, almost any kind of ghost, demons, unicorns, leprechauns, etc.
OP is a faggot that believes in a lot of things.
Also, creepy/unsettling/scary pictures will be highly appreciated as an add-on to this thread.

Do you guys remember shrekchan.org? The illuminati planning page in 2012? Well, I believe there is so much we haven't uncovered, and I am curious what lies under the false entry pages. What if we uncovered everything hidden about the page, not like the first and fake lounge, and the alien abduction report page (which I am curious about) but things no one has discovered, what lies beneath the seemingly innocent sub-chan. Pic unrelated.
