Hate is not a word I use liberally. It's a powerful word, you know? It's a word that implies disgust, revulsion, adamant avoidance.
I understand what the word means, so please understand that when I say "I hate the cold" I mean that in all sense of the word.
North Dakota is pretty fucking barren. And cold. Sure there's some towns and the oil companies are causing the economy to boom. There's still a lot of distance between towns...a lot of distance.
Sometimes a straight line is not always the quickest way to get from A to B. That's where back roads come into play. I was driving back from the airport after a 3 week vacation. No big deal, the GPS wanted me to take the documented state roads and would constantly beep at me that I was a fucking moron and to take U-Turns every mile. I eventually got pissed at it and turned it off.
There's virtually no light source out there other than a car's headlights at 4 am. Even with high beams there's always some low hanging fog that blocks sight lines and makes it even harder to see. It's just a miserable fucking place to live, but it's where my job has me working, so fuck it.
Anyways, I hit a dirt road and had to slow down since there was light snowfall and rain. I didn't want to go too fast that I fishtail into a ditch but I couldn't go so slow as to get stuck.
Canada is pretty damn close to where I live (relatively speaking). Deer and moose are not an uncommon sight. If you hit a moose you're as good as dead, those fuckers are big. Deer can be too but they're a bit more spindly and tend to bounce off a hood or get sideswiped as opposed to a moose that will just fucking smash into your cab and pulverize you.
I've never seen bears out there. Some guys I work with say they see them, but there's no place for them to fucking go so I say it's just typical bullshit guys toss back and forth.
The shape that ran in front of my car was NOT a fucking deer, or a moose, or a goddamn bear.

I really didnt want to post this here. partially because its not entirely paranormal, partially because i dont think ill get anything besides shitposting rather than any actual kind of help, but i cant find any sort of practical help anywhere else on the internet so. . .
ive been meditating and doing all the spiritual stuff for about 3/4's of a year now and i wanted to get into astral projection (which is discussed on here often) and i heard about this guy robert bruce who has pretty extensive stuff on it, and also subtle energy in the body. after reading some of his stuff i felt like i needed to do some of the energy work before i could project properly.
so i started practicing some of his energy work to try and get what he calls "the energy body" active. things were going pretty well for the first couple of days i was trying it, i could feel some sort of energy moving through my body when i focused on it and it really felt like i was clearing some sort of blockage within myself when i was doing it. but after a couple days of some pretty basic practice of trying to move energy in my body i felt it start to collect in my chest, like the center of my rib cage. and now it wont fucking stop. its gotten so intense just in the center of my chest that its starting to burn, really fucking bad. nothing has actually started to burn on my chest but it feels really warm to the touch. but it feels like my heart is trying to burn a hole through my chest. i can barely focus on anything without it getting really painful. i have to spend most of my time focusing on trying to get it not to burn like a mad cunt. itll be almost random too no matter what im doing if i dont focus on it just a little bit my chest will start burning really painfully. ever since it started ive also felt almost some sort of mood disorder. ill go from extremely pissed off to overwhelming despair in a matter of minutes, but i generally feel like shit in between these bouts

I am a long time lurker, never posted anything.
But half a week ago I talked with my mother and she told me of something, she experienced as a child.
I am sure this is no trolling/joking, I also am sure that she is not making things up. She normally is the more rational type of person. I'll greentext it from her perspective:
> be child, 8-10 years old
> lying in bed
> in many nights, I feel that something is walking through the apartment that should not be there
> This thing is making a loud sound while walking
> sounds like HRMPH HRMPH HRMPH HRMPH HRMPH HRMPH all the time
> like ultra-heavy pulsating breathing
> this happens often, noone else in the family notices
she is sure this was real, is sure she made it not up as a kid
> one day, this HRMPH HRMPH HRMPH breathing like sound gehts louder and louder
> she knows it is coming to her
> it enters her bedroom
> it is some kind of creature, not to be described physically
> has some kind of grotesque face/grimace as a face
> features and sight can not really be discribed with words
> it stands at the edge of her bed and makes this ultra loud HRMPH HRMPH HRMPH breathing sound
> she has the feeling that she has to withstand it
> she just stares back at it
> suddenly it stops making this sound and goes away
> she feels extremely relieved
> never see or hear it again
An this is a dream that she had during this time, no idea if it is related to the other thing:
> wants to visit a friendly (real) neighbour
> in the dream, the neighbour opens the door, but behind it is another neighbour
> other neighbour is an evil person (friendly on the outside, but always trying to blame others for bad things, always trying to make others look bad)
> this other neighbour is like jumping up and down behind the friendly neighbour
> she knows, this is not good and she has to wake up
> wakes up after a time
(pic completely unrelated. had nothing fitting, so I used this.)
