INNAWOODS GENERAL. We had a great innawoods thread a few weeks back. Post your stories of creepy/weird or just interesting things that you have found/ happened to you in the woods. I'll start:
>Wandering down an old levee with friend
>about 2 am (we had been fishing, and sleep in an old houseboat we share)
> Been down this levee a million times
>left side slopes into farmland, right into river
>climb down right side to sit by river but it's land (we were a little buzzed and figured we just forgot which way we were facing)
>find a recliner, opposite an old t.v on a table, both in surprisingly good condition
>leave and go to sleep, walk back next day and theres nothing, anywhere

Alright guys, I have never used 4Chan before, but this thing has been just burning into my mind and I need to get it out there so someone else can see it. A few months ago, I was listening to the radio. It was one of those late night talk shows about ghosts and Bigfoot and stuff like that. They were having an open lines sessions when this person called in with a weird story from their childhood. For those of you not familiar with that term, it’s when talk shows open up the lines for people to call in and talk about whatever they want with the hosts. Any way, the guy starts telling the hosts about a time when he was younger he woke up in the middle of the night with a what appeared to be a red man sleeping next to him. It was breathing, but clearly asleep. He finally managed to gather up the courage and after carefully climbing over the thing, ran to his parent’s room. When he was about to turn back and see if he was just imaging things, he heard a THUD from his room, and what sounded like hurried footsteps. Not taking a look back, he ran into his parents’ room and slept with them.
After this call, the station was flooded with calls from people reporting similar cases. I have complied a list of this encounters and I think I figured this thing out. I just want to know if any of you have ever experienced something similar. The following is a writing I did ahead of time, but I felt like a pretense was necessary to make sure this doesn’t get skipped over as just another Creepy Pasta story. I think something is really out there, but this “story” if you will, is just an attempt to put a twist on it. Let me know what you guys think.

Anyone here have any experience with cryptids or "entities", mostly related to their physiology?
Be it Vampires, Lycanthropes, Wendigos or other un-named creatures?
This is not a NOPE thread, but feel free to share stories on whatever you encountered, and discuss your ideas on what it might be.
Extra points if they're in an urban or populated area and could be passed off as humans, it's time for learning.

Wait, so why is everyone believing in shit like nibiru, auras, channeling, ascension, the great harvest?
That whole hidden hand shit was so dumb. I can't even believe that people fell for it. lel.
I don't get it. There is no evidence for this stuff. However, if you want to point me in the direction of some, I would be glad. Or, if you want to debate why it is real, then lets do it because you literally sound like evangelical christians...

I've developed an affinity for /x/ as of recently. I see the presence of Thelemites here, and I'd like to get their opinion, plus others on the following quaere. I'm not trolling anyone here, I'm just genuinely interested in responses, so if my questions seems stupid, try to focus on correcting my ignorance rather than ranting about how dumb the questions are. There are many, so a generally response would be fine instead of addressing the entire issue.
The three forms of ceremonially based religions that embrace magic(k) and (I suppose) make up largely populated branches of the occult include the following: Hermetic Qabalah, Thelema and Wicca.
Why the need for all three? It seems to me that beyond the surface faith, vernacular and angular philosophy, all three branches are essentially teaching, believing and striving for the exact same thing.
Is it due to just sheer schism? I know the Rosicrucians of the Golden Dawn warred between the England and French lodges, so there were divisions from the beginning.
Obviously the commonality between the three are due to their unfolded history and joint membership. Clearly these branches of occult had members that moved from or "evolved(?)" one another, sometimes having the intent of dual membership maybe. The influence is clear in the historicity anyway.
But still... in this century, with illusions constantly being destroyed and the enlightened being able to communicate far and wide... why do these branches marginalize themselves away from one another... the further down the chain you go, you find all three sometimes borrowing RETROACTIVELY from one another these days.
Covens and Cabals alike seem to be loosing their concrete identities as a result... but the grouping still remains. Why?
Help a brother out.
